Sofia Katsarou

Sofia Katsarou is a Senior Project Architect with extensive experience delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across the UK and internationally. Her career has encompassed architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and developer-side roles, giving her a broad understanding of the built environment and the different considerations that influence a project from conception through to completion.

Sofia has strong expertise in Revit and BIM, with experience managing BIM processes, developing coordinated digital models and overseeing the production and exchange of project information across multidisciplinary teams. Her technical experience includes detailed design, construction information, consultant coordination and the resolution of complex architectural, regulatory and construction requirements.

Having worked across projects from early feasibility and concept design through planning, technical design and construction, she has developed a strong understanding of the processes and decisions required to successfully deliver complex schemes. Her experience has given her particular insight into the commercial realities of development, including viability, programme, cost, procurement, buildability and risk. She brings a structured and analytical approach to project management, with a particular strength in identifying potential issues at an early stage and helping teams make informed decisions before they become significant design or delivery risks.

Sofia also has a strong knowledge of sustainable design principles and the relationship between material selection, construction methods, energy efficiency and overall building performance. She is particularly interested in how sustainability can be embedded into projects from the outset, alongside wider considerations of cost, practicality, durability and long-term performance.

Her varied experience allows Sofia to approach projects holistically, bringing together design, technical, commercial and environmental considerations. She combines this broad perspective with a strong attention to detail and a practical understanding of construction, enabling her to take projects forward with a clear focus on quality, coordination and successful delivery.
